Construction planning and project consultation

How is a construction cost estimate prepared?

Cost depends on the project scope, approved design, measured quantities, ground conditions, location, material choices, statutory requirements and programme. We first review the brief and available site information, then prepare a project-specific estimate. Early figures are indicative until the design, quantities and commercial terms are agreed.

Can I see examples of your past projects?

Yes. Our projects page presents selected road, drainage, public-space and building work. Contact us if you need relevant experience records, references or supporting documentation for a tender; availability may depend on client confidentiality.

How can I get started with my construction project?

Send us the project location, intended use, approximate size, target programme, budget range and any drawings, bills of quantities or site information already available. We will clarify the scope, identify any surveys or approvals needed, arrange a site visit where appropriate and agree the next step before pricing or mobilisation.

Do you offer design services in addition to construction?

Multax can support a coordinated design-and-build approach where it suits the project and procurement route. At the outset, we define which design disciplines are provided by Multax or specialist consultants, who is responsible for approvals, and what information the client must supply. The agreed proposal or contract sets the final responsibilities.

How do you ensure the quality of construction work?

Quality controls are matched to the contract and may include approved drawings and method statements, material checks, inspection points, measurements, test records, correction of non-conforming work and handover documentation. We agree the applicable specifications and client or consultant approval process before work begins.

Are you licensed and insured?

Registration, professional licensing and insurance requirements vary by project, discipline and contract. Before award, ask us for the current company registrations, personnel credentials, tax and insurance documents relevant to your work. Supporting documentation is available on request and should be checked for scope and validity for the proposed project.
